OKCHE Membership is open to educators, enthusiasts and all individuals interested in supporting history. Your membership in the Oklahoma Council for History Education includes automatic membership in the National Council for History Education.

OKCHE is the Oklahoma chapter of the National Council for History Education. Registration for OKCHE is completed by registering for NCHE at the link below. Follow the steps in the Registration Guide to become a member.

OKCHE Membership Benefits.

When you become a member of OKCHE you will be joining a community of educators and enthusiasts who promote history and help preserve historical sites and museums across our state.

In addition you will:

NCHE Membership Benefits.

When you become a member of NCHE, in addition to the satisfaction of helping to promote history education, you will:

  • Receive NCHE's newsletter History Matters! published digitally ten times per year.

  • Become a member of the Time Travelers Network. Time Travelers receive special consideration from historical societies, sites and museums around the country.

  • Be entitled to discounted admission to museums and historic sites nationwide along with special discounts from publishers.

  • Be entitled to a member discount on the NCHE Conference.

  • Access to the Members-Only section of the NCHE website, containing archives of downloadable NCHE publications, including our popular Building a History Curriculum guides.
